TIVO Series 2 (TCD24008A)
« on: November 28, 2006, 09:53:05 PM »
A friend of mine has a series 2 Tivo.  He has a failed hard drive (at least this is the current diagnosis).  Can anyone point me/him towards a copy of Instant Cake or some other way to bless the hdd properly.  It is a normal legal lifetime unit.

Ober?

Thanks!

Knuck

Hmm... I haven't had to mess with mine.  This should be in hardware anyways.  If it's a legit Tivo, why not send it back under warranty?

Hey all.

Instant Cake solved his problem.  He said it was a snap and has his Tivo up and Tivo-ing.

Thanks for the help.
